Scrapbooking is one of the many things I like to do. From time to time I will write about something in that area that interests me and hopefully someone else.

Tim Holtz has a create a flower challenge on his blog using the Tattered Floral die. I have owed this die for over a year, but this is the first time I have used it.
I cut the flower layers from felt using the Vagabond. It was very easy to do. The leaves I cut free hand with scissors.
All the edges of the flowers were inked with Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink and the leaves with Mowed Grass Distress Ink.
The flowers were assembled by first piercing each piece and held together with a brad.
SUPPLIES:Felt-The Kunin Group(orange, shocking pink, baby pink, apple green); Machine-Sizzix Tim Holtz Vagabond; Die-Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Tattered Florals; Ink- Ranger Distress Ink (ripe persimmon & mowed grass); Brads-Making Memories; Tools-Scissors(Tim Holtz Tonic), Piercer(We R Memory Keepers)
I believe a person should live their life to the fullest in the Lord, not merely exist.
The things I love to do are studying the Bible, travelling, photography, scrapbooking, gardening and reading. Since retiring in January 2007 I now have time to enjoy all of these things.
