CC3 Challenge #1 Paint Marbling

I decided to take part in a challenge to use the techniques in Tim Holtz latest book A Compendium of Curiosities Volume III.

The first CC3 challenge paint marbling can be found on page 43 of the book. This challenge is sponsored by Inspiration Emporium. I used a 6 1/2 X 3 1/2 inch manila tag I had made with the Cricut machine using the Picturesque cartridge.

I used Distress Paints: Peeled Paint, Spun Sugar, Seedless Preserves and Mustard Seed; Distress Ink: Spiced Marmalade and Peeled Paint; Distress Stain: Peeled Paint (to color the Crinkle Ribbon); Ink: Archival Jet Black  was used for stamping. Stamps: Stampers Anonymous Urban Tapestry, Stampers Anonymous Simple Sayings and Inkadinkado Sunday School Inchie.

The finished tag is used as the focal point of a 7 X 4 1/4 inch card (white base). The card layers are 6 7/8 X 4 1/8 inches (green layer) and 6 3/4 X 4 inches (purple layer). The tag is popped up with foam squares. A Tiny Attacher staple is used to secure the stained crinkled ribbon.
