Today is my son’s birthday. This is a card I had fun making for him using the Cricut Imagine.
The Cricut Celebrations cartridge(balloons pages 11 & 12, sentiment page 43) was used for the diecuts. Before cutting all the diecuts were first printed on white Bazzill Basic cardstock using the Cricut Imagine and the Imagine Hopscotch cartridge(pages 2,3,10,13).
The balloons were layered to each other using popups than adhered to the card base leaving the tails not adhered. Ribbon was tied in a bow around the tails.
The sentiment was adhered to the card front using Zig 2 Way chiseled pen.
The outer edges of the card were inked with Tim Holtz Stormy Sky Distress Ink.

I LOVE the way this came out! Such fun patterns on the sentiment. Happy Belated Birthday to your son. My father's birthday was March 1st as well. If he were still living he would have been 88!
