Botanical Explosion Box

This is an explosion box I made for a Christmas gift. The two part tutorial to make this beautiful box is on YouTube by kristinclarkmckee here. The way she explained how to make one these boxes are so easy to follow. There are at least thirty-two places for tags that can be used as small photo mats or journaling spots.

I used DCWV Botanicals stack for all the printed paper and DCWV Spring Fling matstack  was used to back all of the tags.

All the paper edges were inked with Ranger's TH Iced Spruce Distress Ink or Markers.

Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive was used for adhesion, along with Claudine Hellmuth multi medium matte for all the fussy cut pieces.

Martha Stewart Vintage Doily corner punch was used on the pocket flap of the hidden pocket and the border punch was used on the visible pocket. The buttons were attached with Glue Dots and American Crafts bakers twine was used for the closure of the flap pocket.

The half pocket without and with tag on the inside of the outer layer of the box. A half circle was punched in the full pocket with a Fiskars small circular punch for easy access to it's tag.

That box is awesome. How long did it take for you to put it all together? Great Job.
