Masculine Valentine Cards

I made Valentine cards for my adult son and adult grandson. They are both wonderful fathers to their daughters. My son's daughter had her third birthday in January and my grandson's daughter will be two on Valentine's day.

The 6 X 6 cards were made using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Retro Grunge Paper Stash, The five inch hearts on the front of the cards are the blackout and shadow features on page 72 of the Cricut Sweethearts cartridge.

I inked the edges of the top heart with Tim Holtz Distress Ink-festive berries than wrapped it with some hemp before adhering just the center to the shadow. Than the hearts are adhered to the card base. The sentiment on the front and the heartXO on the inside are also from the same cartridge page 36 cut at 1 1/2 inches. The sentiment on the inside of the card came from the Internet. It was printed on Georgia Pacific cardstock, cut into the heart shape using a Fiskars Shaper Template and inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink-festive berries.

I like these cards Dakota. The paper is perfect for a man's card.
