Spring Blooms

I made this layout to participate in Throwback Thursday on Emma's blog  My Creative Time. Spring is my favorite season, so I decided to make a layout using pictures of some of my daffodils, as well as Camellia and Rhododendron I saw a couple of years ago on a trip back from Virginia. As part of the challenge we were asked to use one of the Cricut Lite cartridges. I used the Lovely Floral Lite Cartridge for the title and the pink flower.

The photo mats, title and flower were cut using the Gypsy and Cricut expression. The photos were distressed and the photos, mats and title shadow were inked.

The flower petals were Stickled.

The font used for the title didn't have a shadow, so I glued it to a mat and roughly cut a shadow. To make the title stand out more I outlined all the letters with a green pen.

The ribbon on the layout is held in place with cute floral brads.

Cardstock: DCWV
Cartridge: Cricut Lite Lovely Floral
Ink: Ranger Distress Ink - Tea Dye; Tsukineko Brillance - Graphite Black; Kuretake Zig Millennium Pens -Pure Green and Pure Black
Adhesives: Rangers Stickles - Cotton Candy; Zig 2 Way; Glue Glide Pro; ATG
Tools: ProvoCraft Gypsy and Cricut Expression; Tim Holtz Distressor; We R Memory Keepers Brad Setter and Crop -a - Dile Corner Chromper; Acrylic Stamps (I don't know the manufacturer)
Accessories: American Craft ribbon; Floral Brads ( I don't know the manufacturer)
