Birthday Card for Another Grandson

I have a grandson celebrating his 17th birthday today. His favorite basketball team is the Boston Celtics. He has the desire to play basketball himself, maybe someday he will. But at the moment his talents seem to be more in the academic arena. Last year he was inducted into the National Honor Society.

The 5.25 X 6.25 card was designed using the Gypsy and cut on the Cricut Expression.
The Happy Birthday( A Child's Year cartridge) was welded to the frame and a separate gold one was cut and glued on top later. The card frame (Sports Mania cartridge) was cut then the layers were cut and glued on top. A basketball (SM) was cut, covered with Glossy Accents and Glue Pop Dot over the frame basketball. Prismacolor Colored Pencils were used to outline the player and add white detail to his suit.

The A7 envelope was made using the Martha Stewart Scoreboard.
