Inside of the Cards
Two of my daughters were born in January six years and five days apart. Their favorite colors are purple for the oldest and green for the younger. So every year I incorporate the colors into their cards.

The birthday cake(Imagine Yummy cartridge) and the cupcake(Imagine Better Together) were printed and cut as individual pieces using the Cricut Imagine diecutting machine. All edges of the cut pieces were inked using Colorbox ink. Some of the pieces were embellished with Ranger Stickles. The layers of the cake and cupcake were adhered together using a Zig 2 Way pen and then were attached to the cards with foam popups.

The doily was cut using the new Martha Stewart Circular edge punch, cut in half and inked. The Recollection sentiment was stamped using Memory ink. The corners of the cards were cut using the We R Memory Keepers 1/4 Chromper.

The doily band on the inside of the cards were made with the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Trim punch, also inked their edges. They were only adhered at the ends so a gift card or check could be slipped behind them.

Granddaughter's 3rd Birthday

My youngest grandchild will be three years old on Friday. For her birthday I made her a card and a large rosette pin she can wear.

The idea for the card I got from Robyn(My Pink Stamper). She made a similar card this past week and I thought it would be ideal for a birthday card. The little bird cut at 3 3/4 inches is from the Cricut Straight from the Nest cartridge.

The birthday rosette pin is from the Cricut Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge. 6-three and one half inch sections were cut, folded and glued together with adhesive to form the rosette. Pink circles were adhered using a hot glue gun. Before the circle was glued to back of the rosette three ribbons of each color were glued together using hot glue than glued to the back of the rosette. A medium safety pin was glued to the back circle with hot glue. A chipboard "3" was hot glued to the front pink disc.
